Why It’s Okay Not to Be an Overnight Success

What You May Think is Holding You Back Could Be Setting You Up for Success

Steve Jobs was quoted as saying, “If you really look closely, most overnight successes took a long time.”

When We Started

Nothing could be more truly stated. Almost eight years ago, when I started this Catawater journey, no one could convince me (although many tried) that it was going to take a lot longer to break out this amazing technology than I had assumed.

If everyone else saw and experienced what I did with it, it would be a no-brainer quick rise to the top. “Give me six months, and I’ll have everyone using it,” is what I used to say. Thankfully, that did not turn out to be the case at all.

Looking Back

So, why am I thankful it took what seems like forever to reach the point we are now? Because over the years, I came to realize that the sheer enormity of addressing all of the potential opportunities with such a breakthrough technology at once would have been too much to keep up with had it truly been an overnight process.

This is a really big world we all live in, with many issues to correct. A lot of issues we can easily remedy with our technology. So many that there would have been no way to address them all had they all come to pass at once.

What’s Happening Now

So, here we find ourselves with just the right amount of business for our current team and organization. We have managed to grow to where we are with no debt and no damage that could have been caused by hyper-rapid growth. It doesn’t mean we stop here.

The Future is Bright

Much to the contrary, we are poised to take the next step in our growth trajectory with the help of a few strategic partners who have recognized Catawater technology’s implications as the “next big thing” in industrial and environmental process enhancement.

What’s Happening with Catawater®
